Description
In Carrizo Plain National Monument. We saw this national monument on the map and decided to visit it for two reasons. First after checking out the place on the web I thought it would be an interesting place. Second a rain front was coming through and the rain was much lighter in this area of the state. With wide-open skies the sun dotted the landscape between the showers and we were presented with this beautiful rainbow.
